Materials science and engineering research

Research in materials science and engineering spans a large number of topics within the MSE Graduate Faculty. Our researchers seek to improve the performance of materials in order to create innovative solutions for energy, security, and sustainability. Materials science and engineering research addresses a broad range of materials-driven challenges and benefits several industries.
