Professor Herrmann was a visiting scientist at the University of Technology Eindhoven, The Netherlands in 2001 before joining the Center for Turbulence Research at Stanford as a postdoctoral fellow in 2002. Since 2004 he is a Research Associate both at CTR and the Center for Integrated Turbulence Simulations.
