SEMTE Support Services
Welcome to the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy’s Human Resources. SEMTE HR is SEMTE’s point of contact to assist you with your HR needs related to payroll, benefits, leaves (medical and personal), retirement, time reporting, and hiring.
We assist with all hiring including:
- Graduate Research Assistants/Associates
- Student Workers (hourly)
- Postdoctoral Scholars.
- Academic Professionals
- Research Staff
- Teaching Assistants/Associates
- SEMTE Graders/Instructional Aides
- PRN (as-needed) employees
Support services
SEMTE HR also serves as your liaison with the International Students and Scholars Center (ISSC) for processing visa requests and employer-sponsored permanent residency (green card) processes.
Important: Offer letters are considered contracts and can only be generated through the SEMTE HR office. Before making any offers (verbal or written), please consult with the SEMTE HR team.
